Steamfitter

The Dane County Regional Airport has 2 current vacancies for full time (1.0 FTE) Steamfitters. Schedules for each vacancy are as follows: Vacancy #1: Will work 1:30pm to 12:00am, rotating, including every other weekend and holidays. Vacancy #2: Will work 5:00am to 3:30pm, rotating, including every other weekend and holidays. Undesirable Hours Premium Pay: Employees assigned to this classification at the Airport also receive undesirable hours pay of $3.00 for any time worked between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., and for any time on Saturday and/or Sunday. The eligible list created from this posting will be used for future Steamfitter vacancies within the next six (6) months. Note to applicants – for the 2026 budget year, there is a 1% reduction in wages (already reflected above), an additional 21 holiday hours, and continued earning of longevity and merit steps.
