State Patrol Sergeant (North Central Region)

State Patrol Sergeants direct and supervise State Patrol Troopers and Inspectors responsible for law enforcement goals and objectives; assist in developing, implementing, and managing short-range and long-range programs; rotate as district duty supervisor by monitoring and directing operational activities; provide public relations liaison duties with the public, other law enforcement agencies, and the media; provide technical expertise relating to traffic law enforcement, policy analysis, short-range and mid-range program planning, program implementation, and program evaluation; prepare budget issue papers and write research reports; and recommend policy and program improvements.
