Science Teacher - Milwaukee Youth Facility

This position will develop and implement a program of educational services specific to the needs of the male and/or female juvenile offender population. The teacher will provide individual and group instruction; will evaluate student progress; and will prescribe necessary remediation and/or academic support services. The teacher will also complete all required documentation related to student assessment and related reports; will evaluate academic records in a timely manner; will monitor and manage student behavior; and will attend relevant institutional staffings/meetings. Special Requirement:Certification as a Teacher; Grades 4-12 or PK-12,by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and certification in one of the following: # 2600 General Science, #1601 Broad Field Science, #1605 Biology/Life Science,, #1636 Environmental Studies.
