Professional Development Specialist

This position is responsible for the on-going needs assessment of training programs and learning activities associated with agency initiatives, policies, procedures, and other areas for the benefit of Department of Revenue staff. The position will strategize with other program specialists to develop, coordinate, and administer learning and development opportunities for employees. The position will work with content experts in the development and implementation of training content. This will include coordinating with supervisors and managers to ensure that professional development and growth opportunities are available to staff. The position conducts evaluations of the effectiveness of training as assessed by participants, their supervisors, and leadership and will leverage the results of the evaluation to develop training curricula, develop, and implement improvements or revisions as nec
