Physician

As a Physician at SWC, you will practice medicine through the assessment and treatment of individuals with intellectual and behavioral disabilities. This involves diagnosis, treatment and disposition of assigned patients, including activities such as preventive medicine, disease assessment, consultation with other medical and professional staff, prescribing medications and treatments and documentation of treatment plans and progress. Additional clinical functions include ordering laboratory work, diagnostic tests and nursing measures. This provision of medical care is part of a comprehensive program of 24/7 medical management coverage of individuals who live at SWC. Minimally qualified candidates must have:Licensed or eligibility to obtain license to practice medicine in the State of Wisconsin. Licensure must be obtained by time of appointment.
