Nursing Assistant 3

This position assists in providing health care and services to Persons in Our Care in a correctional institution infirmary or health services unit. Duties include assisting Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Nurses, and Physicians with direct patient care, including tasks such as: assisting patients in activities of daily living, hygiene and treatments; determining and recording vitals; and assisting in minor procedures. This position will perform patient record related clerical functions and other assigned duties in maintaining day-to-day functioning in a 24/7-unit operation. SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Applicants must possess by time of hire and maintain certification in BLS by the American Heart Association and training in the use of the AED and have the ability to perform BLS and/or first aid to prevent loss of life and relieve suffering until appropriate care arrives.Applicants will be
