National History Day Learning Facilitator in Stevens Point - LTE

The National History Day (NHD) in Stevens Point Learning Facilitator is responsible for supporting the implementation and growth of the National History Day program in the Stevens Point region. This work is done in support of a grant-funded initiative led by the Wisconsin Historical Society to expand access to high quality civic learning and historical literacy education in central Wisconsin. National History Day is a school year academic program for students in grades 6-12, which focuses on developing research, critical thinking, and analytical skills through history project-based learning.The NHD in Stevens Point Learning Facilitator provides dedicated support to students and educators in the Stevens Point region, in addition, to supporting teachers participating in the National History Day cohort.
