In-House Project Development Specialist

This position functions as a Transportation Specialist (Entry/Senior) within the Project Development Section of the North Central Region and is responsible for the coordination and development of in-house transportation improvement projects in both the design and construction phases. Time frames may vary within each area dependent on workload, staffing needs, and employee development needs. Primary duties will be assigned according to the phase of the project, however, workload may include additional activities relating to the construction or design phase.While assigned to the construction phase of a project, this position will serve as an assistant construction project leader and performs the inspection and assurance testing for verification and comparison with the contractor's test data.
