Purpose The Engineering Technician IV leads a survey crew in conducting surveys for improvement projects and related studies. Essential Functions Surveying Set transit lines and gather data for cross-section level data, establishing grades based on benchmark data. Conduct surveys relative to grade separation, structures, major arterials, properties, street and alley openings, sewers, water mains, tunnel dredging, street repairs, obstructions, land descriptions, surveys, subdivisions, and drainage complaints.
