Electronics Technician Security Senior - Milwaukee Youth Facility

Under the general supervision of the Buildings and Grounds Supervisor, the Electronics Technician-Security - Senior will maintain, repair, and calibrate most advanced and complex electronic systems and equipment; plan, design, and install new electronic security systems, modifications, and expansions of present systems; assist other maintenance staff; direct and assign work to youth; and provide maintenance records for all DJC facilities. Knowledge of principles, practices, methods, material and techniques of the most advanced and complex electronic security hardware installation and repair; computer and security related electronic systems; function and use of test equipment such as test sources, test meters and oscilloscopes.
