This position functions as a Civil Engineer within the NW Region, Project Development Section and is responsible for the oversight and delivery of the local program. The duties and responsibilities require, performing the highest degree of independent discretion and judgment on transportation improvement projects in both the construction and design phases. Under general supervision, this position manages activities on multiple projects including those of a highly complex nature for continuity in both design and construction phases.The essential function of this position is to act as a project manager in the design and construction of transportation improvement projects for the Local Program and State Highway system as assigned.
