Admissions Nurse Practitioner (APNP)

As an Admissions Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for the following duties:Evaluating new referrals and completing the medical clearance process for new admissions. Completing histories and physical exams on new patient admissions. Assisting the Medical Clinic in providing medical care as needed.Being on call to the nurses and nursing supervisors outside of regular business hours. Calls include giving medical advice over the phone but also may involve seeing WMHI patients outside of normal business hours. Referring a WMHI patient when they need to be admitted to another hospital and directing that they receive all appropriate medical care.
