Workdays & Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm* *Subject to change DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Installs, calibrates, maintains and repairs various disinfection and de-chlorination instruments, equipment, chemical lines, switch-over valves, flow meters, level meters controllers, analyzers, chart recorders chemical pumps or other instrumentation depending upon the operational program of the department. Inspects, tests and evaluates instruments and equipment for proper operation or faulty maintenance. Maintains records of work orders, incoming/outgoing parts and equipment and parts and equipment requisitions and pricing. Performs other technical repairs, installations, maintenance, as directed; may perform some nontechnical assignments. WORKING CONDITIONS The position involves considerable physical exertion, such as regular climbing of ladders, lifting of heavy objects (up to 80 pounds) on a highly frequent basis and/or assuming awkward positions for long periods of time.
