Maybe required to work all hours and Shifts* (*Subject to Change) PURPOSE OF DIVISION The purpose of the Houston Airports (HAS) Maintenance Division is to effectively deliver self-performed and contracted maintenance services across all three HAS airports, ensuring the safety, reliability, functionality, and efficiency of airport facilities and infrastructure to support continuous airport operations. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The purpose of the Maintenance Mechanic III position is to prevent mechanical failure of equipment, to identify and correct safety hazards, and inspect, repair, clean and maintain several types of equipment: pumps, miscellaneous rotating and reciprocating equipment, plumbing equipment (sinks, commodes, urinals, flush valves, and faucets) and machinery throughout the airport complex. This position may be assigned duties at all Houston Airport System facilities including IAH, HOU, and EFD.
