OCE is dedicated to enforcing the City of Houston’s (City) Infrastructure Design Manual for both public and private capital improvement within the City’s right-of-way. Key Responsibilities: Coordinates traffic engineering review activities and traffic group personnel. Reviews the Access Management submittals and Traffic Impact Studies. Reviews private development plans, public plans for any improvements in the City Right of way, Capital Improvement projects (CIP), Traffic Control Plans, and Right of Way Encroachments for compliance with State and Federal Regulations, the City’s Code of Ordinance, and the City’s Infrastructure Design Manual to ensure the safe design and construction.
