The Davidson County Election Commission is hiring seasonal Poll Officials for Election Day: Officer --Manages and leads a precinct team, while supporting all of the other Poll Official positions Special Clerk-- Facilitates voting by Provisional ballot Machine Operator --Prepares voting machine, enabling a voter to cast a ballot Precinct Registrar --Operates the Electronic Poll Book to verify voter, before voter is sent to voting machine Reservist --Covers both Machine Operator and Precinct Registrar job duties and is willing to travel to a wide range of locations in Davidson County Poll Officials are paid $150 per Election Day worked and $30 per mandatory online training class completed.
