Plant Maintenance Mechanic (Vacancy)

This full-time Plant Maintenance Mechanic is in the Division of Water Reclamation and located at the Southerly Water Reclamation Plant. Under general supervision, this position is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and removing industrial mechanical equipment; performs related duties as required. The position is Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30 pm. As stated in the minimum qualifications, one must possess a valid driver's license, high school diploma, and 2 years of experience assisting in the installation, maintenance, repair, and/or removal of industrial mechanical equipment or heavy motorized machinery. Preferred experience: - Work with pumps, blowers, centrifuges, and piping systems, - Basic computer experience including entering data into an electronic maintenance program.
