Payroll/Benefits Clerk (Provisional) (Vacancy)

Under direction, is responsible for performing payroll and/or benefit functions; performs related duties as required. A tested eligible list is not active for this classification at this time, therefore, in accordance with Civil Service Rule X(E), this position will be filled on a PROVISIONAL basis. At such time an examination is given for this classification, the preferred candidate serving in the class provisionally will be required to take the examination. The preferred candidate at that time must pass the exam to continue employment in this classification.
