Landscape Architect

The City of Jersey City is a rapidly growing, highly urbanized environment, with Green initiatives flourishing and a continuous need for innovative, civic-minded Public Open space to work in concert with the other City's complete streets policy and design. With the City's last completion of a comprehensive Master Plan for Open Space – opportunities to expand the always-in-need park spaces are always an exciting challenge! The Division of Architecture is seeking a Landscape Architect to bring expertise to a team of professionals responsible for ensuring the design, construction of architectural and engineering systems and their integration from design into construction, promoting cost-effective, successful projects for the City are completed on time and within budget. Effective collaboration with the City Administration, professionals, and staff to establish and prioritize work assignments that encourage efficient operation and project completion. Conducts preliminary analysis and prepares reports on the project planning design process. Conducts surveys in an area and gathers information on the residents. Reviews, analyses, and interprets various requests into useful information for
