Health Technician (Optometry)

The Health Technician (Optometry) is a member of the St Cloud VA Health Care System. In the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) the incumbent performs technical clinical care to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and counseling of patients who have received care provided by Optometrists or Ophthalmologists.

Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Citizen of the United States. Experience and Education. (1) Experience. One year of experience as a health technician or assistant in the health care field demonstrating the applicant's ability to perform the work or by demonstrating a basic understanding of work in the health care field; OR (2) Education.
