REFRIGERATION MECHANIC To safely and efficiently install, operate, monitor, repair and maintain operation of all Jackson Business Office and assist Southern Faculties refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, hydronic, and humidity systems and controls utilizing self and prisoner workers to complete duties. This position is to comply with all applicable department policies, procedures, MIOSHA standards and laws while performing required duties. Instructs skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled prisoners with the performance of assigned tasks or duties. Also completes work requests and scheduled preventive maintenance. Develops material orders and specification as well as monitors material inventories. This is a hand’s on position and this person is expected to handle all duties as assigned.
