Description: The Michigan House of Representatives Sergeant-at-Arms Police Agency is currently accepting applications for Assistant Sergeant-at-Arms. This full-time law enforcement position consists primarily of dignitary protection for State Legislators, threat assessments and investigations. Predominant work schedule is Monday thru Friday, with weekends and State Holidays off. Assistant Sergeant-at-Arms work under the supervision of the Chief of Police, at the direction of the Clerk of the House of Representatives. Salary Range: •Starting annual salary of $60,000, with health benefits and retirement options. General Caucus: •All positions are at-will, non-partisan, and full time.
