Incumbents of positions in this series operate motor trucks to transport passengers, materials and equipment; drive motor trucks with dump bodies; operate light motor vehicles such as station wagons, panel trucks and automobiles; perform minor preventative maintenance to vehicles; maintain records and prepare reports on such matters as vehicle use and mileage; load and unload materials, equipment and supplies; and perform related work as required. The basic purpose of this work is to operate various motor trucks to transport persons, materials and/or equipment in connection with assigned agency activities.
