Recruitment and Advancement Bonus The Department will initiate a recruitment and advancement bonus of $5,000 for Paramedics. The bonus will be paid in increments of $1,250 at the intervals of 6 months, 12 months, 18 months and 24 months from the date of hire. Paramedics hired or incumbent employees advanced under this program must maintain their ALS certification (and function in Baltimore County) for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of hire.
