FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM MECHANIC

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This position is located in a Logistics Readiness Squadron, Mission Support Group, Air National Guard Wing. DEFINITION OF AREA(S) OF CONSIDERATION: Area 1 = Enlisted members of the Louisiana National Guard.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience or training demonstrating knowledge of hydraulics, fluids, gases and mechanics as applied to fuel systems and components repair techniques; experience using tools and equipment associated with the trade and reading and interpreting directions. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience or training operating, maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, and overhauling fuel systems and components; experience or training initiating and controlling the movement and storage of fuel supplies by operating high pressure systems with a series of terminals connected by cross-country pipe
