Staff Nurse (RN) - Women's Residential Services - Flex / PRN

As a Registered Nurse in our Women's Residential Program, this person is responsible for the direct care of clients, including crisis intervention and triage on admission, participates in developing treatment plans with clients, provides emergency assessment for hospitalizations, administers medications, and reports supply needs to the Nursing Coordinator. This is a residential program for women with substance use disorders. Through education, individual/group counseling, case management, psychiatric care, medical services, and family/peer support, clients are empowered and achieve skills to recover. Scheduled Hours: As needed (1st, 2nd or 3rd shift) Acts as a triage nurse for admissions to the program. Provides professional nursing care, including administering medications, according to physician’s orders in conformance with recognized nursing techniques and procedures, established standards, and administrative policies of the department. Recognizes and interprets symptoms of clients’ conditions, reports to appropriate personnel, and assists with remedial measures for adverse developments.
