Part-Time Park Ranger Downtown Riverfront Parks

This is clerical, customer support and semi-skilled service maintenance work in performing manual labor tasks in the upkeep and repair of Downtown Riverfront Parks. Work requires knowledge of uninvolved standardized work routines used in maintaining park facilities which involves the use of common equipment or uncomplicated machinery, and in performing basic clerical work. Contacts require courtesy, tact, and effectiveness in dealing with others to request or provide information, ask questions, or obtain clarification. The work is routine following established routines, standing instructions, and established procedures, but some variation in the sequence of procedures used is permitted based on situations encountered in the workplace. Duties at the park are in a fast-paced environment requiring strong multi-tasking skills. Operates standard office equipment such as telephones, motor vehicles, personal computers, cash register, credit card machine, assortment of machinery and tools, such as chain saws and backhoes.
