REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERENCES The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified candidates for Licensed Engineer THIS JOB ANNOUNCEMENT WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL SUFFICIENT NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS ARE RECEIVED AND MAY CLOSE AT ANY TIME. The Licensed Engineer for the WWS Engineering Planning, Development & GIS Section of the Broward County Water and Wastewater Services, Engineering Division performs professional and administrative work for utility planning initiatives and projects initiated by land developers through a Broward County Utility Connection Permit (“Developer Projects”). The position reviews design and record drawings for developer projects and capital projects, coordinates with engineering inspection staff and other divisions, performs hydraulic modeling, and prepares planning outlines for future capital projects. The License Engineer also evaluates, and reviews reports and documents for correctness, completeness and timeliness, undertakes special studies, performs analysis, and prepares reports.
