The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified candidates for Equipment Operator - Water & Wastewater Services Please Note: This announcement will remain open until a sufficient number of applications are received and may close at any time. The Equipment Operator m ust be able to drive large trucks and be proficient in the use of heavy equipment, including but not limited to, Front-end Loader, Skid-steer Loader, Forklift, Dump Truck, Vacuum Truck, Tractor Trailer, and other equipment as assigned. Must show proficiency on all assigned pieces of equipment within six (6) months. Additional duties include completing daily paper-work, work-orders, demonstrating good communication skills, and being a team player. General Description Performs skilled work in the operation of large vehicles and equipment. Works under close to general supervision according to set procedures, but determines how or when to complete tasks. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Requires one (1) year experience operating heavy equipment related to area of assignment.
