The Broward County Board of County Commissioners Transportation Department is seeking qualified candidates for Engineering Unit Supervisor in its Engineering and Planning Section. The Engineering Unit Supervisor leads, manages, and oversees the engineering activities that support the planning, design, and delivery of major transit capital projects. This position performs advanced professional and supervisory engineering work in the design, review, and implementation of transit infrastructure, including Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), Light Rail Transit (LRT), Commuter Rail Transit, and major transit facilities such as intermodal terminals, park and ride structures, and vehicle storage and maintenance facilities. A primary responsibility of this position is to develop, maintain, and update the engineering standards, design criteria, and guidelines governing all major transit infrastructure projects.
