Supervisory Highway Safety Specialist (Service Center Director) (Open to both U.S. Citizens and Federal Employees)

This position is in the Western Service Center, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). You will be located in Lakewood, CO.

To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration. To qualify for the Grade 15, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equal or equivalent to the GS-14, it must include: Experience providing advice and assistance to agency management and program staff, state, local and regional officials, and industry officials regarding Hazardous Materials Safety Programs, including interpretation of data, policy, legislation and regulations, procedures, requirements, technological advancements, and/or strategies.
