Workers’ Compensation Assistant

Under the general direction and supervision of a Supervising Workers' Compensation Consultant, the Workers' Compensation Assistant (WCA) will learn and perform analytical and technical tasks of average difficulty related to Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) processes in order to meet the needs of the Medical Unit in an efficient and effective manner. The incumbent will review, analyze, and determine whether documents meet DIR's regulations appropriately. This position also entails providing assistance to the public by phone via a virtual call center.
