Waterfowl Hunter Check Station Seasonal Aid

Under close supervision of the Wildlife Habitat Supervisor II, the incumbent will work in hunter check stations and perform the duties below. May also be under the lead of the Senior Environmental Scientist (Supervisory). Assist in processing hunters at waterfowl hunter check stations. Clean and maintain check station building and immediate outside area. Answer public inquiries relating to procedures and regulations. Identify and record type of game harvested, and if needed, take samples and measurements to be submitted for biological studies. Maintain accurate and legible records on appropriate forms and compile reports related to hunter and harvest data.
