Section Chief

Under general direction, the Supervisor II serves as a Section Chief responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures having a statewide impact on the Department of Developmental Services (Department) quality assurance projects and initiatives. The Supervisor II manages major administrative functions within the Quality Assurance Branch, including but not limited to, managing technical and administrative staff, budget and contract development and negotiation, formulating and implementing policies and procedures affecting quality assurance practices at the 21 regional centers, developing statewide quality improvement strategies, and making recommendations on highly sensitive issues impacting future program structure and funding.
