Public Safety Dispatcher

Communications Infrastructure and Support Sectoin (CISS) has a Public Safety Dispatcher opening located at the California Highway Patrol Headquarters. This position is an instructor position within the Communications Training Program, and under the direction of a Public Safety Dispatch Supervisor I. The duties of the position include, but are not limited to: • Participating in the research, development, design, review, and implementation of training curriculum, as well as appropriate training materials, manuals, guides, and other resources for the Public Safety Dispatcher Basic Course (PSDBC) Modules A and B, Communications Training Officer Course (CTOC), and Advanced Communications Training Officer Course (ACTOC) • Provide support for gathering Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies and the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials accreditation standards f
