Production Systems Administrator

Under general direction provided by the California State Payroll System (CSPS) Production Support Manager (Information Technology Manager I), the Information Technology Specialist II (ITS II), serves as the CSPS Production Administrator. The incumbent provides strategic leadership, direction, and oversight for the production operation, application support services, third-party vendor management. Operational readiness, and continuous service improvement initiatives supporting the CSPS. The CSPS project is a statewide modernization initiative that replaces the State’s legacy Human Resources (HR) and Payroll systems with cloud-based Software as Service (SaaS) Human Capital Management (HCM) solution.
