Materials & Stores Supervisor II (Canteen)

Individuals who are eligible for Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position (s). Under the supervision of The Prison Canteen Manager II, the Materials and Stores Supervisor II assists with prison canteen operations. Duties include researching and ordering merchandise, working with vendors, maintaining inventory and purchasing records, updating price lists, and overseeing the proper storage and delivery of merchandise. The position also trains and supervises staff and incarcerated workers , maintains incarcerated worker timekeeping records, prepares performance reports, and ensures warehouse operations are conducted safely and efficiently. The M&SS II may also provide coverage in the canteens, oversee merchandise sales, and perform loading and unloading duties using warehouse equipment as needed.
