Information Technology Technician

Under the close supervision of the Information Technology Supervisor I, the Information Technology Technician (ITT) is responsible for working closely with Technology Infrastructure Section, Customer Services Group, staff and supporting the Grants Management System (GMS), managing calls, work order requests, and offering technical support and is responsible for independently resolving technical issues with the GMS along with providing first tier technical support for departmental information technology and communication systems statewide. The ITT should possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively over the telephone with departmental customers and vendors with varying levels of information technology knowledge for the Customer Services Grou p.
