Parks Maintenance Worker II Parks and Basins Maintenance Assignment

There are two (2) vacancies in the Parks and Basins Maintenance Assignment. First review of applications will be Monday, July 13, 2026, and weekly thereafter until the position is filled. A Parks Maintenance Worker II works independently while performing a variety of semiskilled to skilled tasks in two or more trades or skill areas such as carpentry, welding, electrical, masonry, painting, or plumbing for the maintenance, repair, alteration, and construction of facilities, fixtures, and equipment at City parks, basins, golf courses, athletic/sports fields, and other recreational areas including, but not limited to: chain link fence repair and installation; and repair of parks, playgrounds, golf courses, stadium structures, facilities, and related equipment. Employees in this class may also provide functional supervision or lead direction and training for Parks Maintenance Assistants, Parks Maintenance Worker I's, temporary agency workers, or volunteers. This class performs related duties as required. Parks and Basin Maintenance Assignment: Employees assigned to parks and basin maintenance perform construction, maintenance, repair, and related service activities for the City's parks
