Facilities Operations Manager

The Facilities Management Department is responsible for the maintenance and operation of more than five (5) million square feet of the City of Mesa’s vertical assets and exterior facilities. This responsibility is carried out through a combination of contracted services and City personnel who specialize in a wide range of building systems and skilled trades, including HVAC, building automation systems, plumbing, electrical, roofing, locksmith services, carpentry, and irrigation systems. This position plays a critical role in coordinating and communicating with building occupants and tenants, as well as supporting the establishment and administration of lease agreements. This classification has been designated as a non-classified, non-merit system, at-will position.
