Facilities Equipment Technician I - Plumbing

There are currently two plumber assignment vacancies - one in Facilities Management and one in Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities. This recruitment will also be used to establish an eligible list to fill possible future Facilities Equipment Technician - Plumbing vacancies in other areas. * If applicable, please be sure to attach your plumbing apprenticeship certificate of completion or plumbing journeyman card to your application. A Facilities Equipment Technician I primarily performs skilled plumbing work in City buildings. Employees perform a wide variety of skilled tasks in plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures. Work assignments are varied and may be received verbally or in writing. When required, the employee exercises lead supervision over semiskilled and unskilled workers. This class performs other related duties as required. Employees in this class primarily perform mechanical equipment trades work and are licensed as and/or function as specialists in plumbing work. A high degree of
