Electrical Controls Specialist I/II

The Water Resources Department is excited to offer a hiring bonus for individuals newly hired as Electrical Controls Specialist I's and II's, who may be eligible for a $3,500 incentive at the conclusion of Initial City Probation. To receive the bonus, a new hire must work as an Electrical Controls Specialist for one year and receive a successful performance evaluation. The first review of applications will be Monday, April 20, 2026, then weekly thereafter until all vacancies are filled. There are multiple vacancies that may be filled at either the Specialist I or Specialist II level. Electrical Controls Specialist I ($65,880.88 - $92,983.49 annually) Under close supervision, an Electrical Controls Specialist I performs or assists Electrical Controls Specialist II with Electrical/Instrumentation installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work related to electrical equipment up to 15kv and instrumentation equipment used to operate and monitor the City's water, wastewater, and gas systems.
