Corrections Food Service Leader 3

Under the general supervision of the Food Service Manager, this position is responsible for the food service operation at the Robert E. Ellsworth Correctional Center. Direct the production of meals; train and supervise inmate food service workers; plan meals and procure supplies; care for and clean kitchen equipment; maintain food inventory and proper sanitation standards. May work holidays and weekends, and other times as needed and/or directed. This position will use computer software in the preparation of food estimates. Minimally qualified applicants will have experience:Working in a food service environment including handling, preparing, and cooking/baking of food as well as following standardized recipesMaintaining cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standardsLeading or overseeing the work of others (e.g. training/instructing, assigning /reviewing work, etc.) Applicants must b
