Sheriff's Record Supervisor

The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office is seeking a Custody Records Supervisor for the Central Records unit. This position oversees the day-to-day operations of Central Records to include supervision, scheduling, and training for records clerk staff. The responsibility for this position also includes overseeing inmate booking, releases, warrants, court orders, and other agency record inquiries. The Hennepin County Adult Detention Center Records Unit is responsible for processing approximately 40,000 inmate bookings annually. It is also responsible for coordinating records for about 700 daily detainees, processing about 150 releases a day and entering and clearing 150 warrants each day. The Central Records Unit is in a secured facility that operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Shifts are 8 hours long and may start at 6
