Locksmith Journey, King Veterans Home - Limited-term Employment

Under the general supervision of the Building/Grounds Superintendent, this position ensures that locks, doors and security systems at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King (WVHK) comply with provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable fire and safety codes. The incumbent independently installs, repairs, replaces, re-keys, and adjusts mechanical and electronic locks and electronic access control systems; fabricates and installs related door components and hardware; performs a variety of inspections, adjustments and repairs to buildings and grounds; makes minor repairs such as window glass and/or screen replacements; and performs other maintenance tasks as assigned.
