This position will perform advanced, independent and innovative technical and financial functions of a professional engineering nature along with responsible administrative and management functions in the development of the region’s improvement programs. This includes both the Resurfacing, Reconstruction, and Reconditioning (3R) Program and Backbone Program. The 3R and Backbone Programs are collectively known as the State Highway Rehabilitation Programs (SHR). Other activities include involvement in special studies and development of reports related to the financial management of the region. Assist the supervisor in development and implementation of region objectives by reviewing proposed policy , and in recommending procedural changes.
