Regional Workzone Engineer (CE Trans Senior or Adv) - $3000 sign on bonus

This position functions as the Region's Workzone Traffic Control Engineer and performs advanced traffic engineering work on projects and issues in the Madison area counties. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, providing highly technical guidance and acceptance in all stages of development of the Transportation Management Plan (TMP) for projects in the region. This position will have knowledge of rules and guidelines pertaining to permanent traffic control standards, work zone traffic control and traffic management/mobility requirements. This position will assist with the development, coordination, and PS&E submittal of signing and marking plans and traffic mitigation contracts. and will participate in the Region review of Traffic Impact Analysis for land use Development, which may affect the operation of the STH systems.
