This position performs high-level engineering work and is responsible for making decisions independent of supervisory oversight. This position assists with directing the work and activities of transportation specialist and consultants while providing technical guidance to the design, construction, maintenance, and consultant staff on geotechnical/soils design as well as evaluation of soil conditions.
