Facilities Maintenance Specialist - Advanced

Under the general supervision of the Buildings and Grounds Superintendent, Area 6 West Bend, the Facilities Maintenance Specialist- Advanced (FMS- Advanced) performs maintenance and repairs to building mechanical equipment including overhead doors. The FMS- Advanced performs advanced level electrical and plumbing maintenance and repairs, and maintenance and repair to HVAC units and controls, steam lines, valves and associated equipment. The position independently troubleshoots, performs diagnostic procedures and determines alternatives for repair or solves the requirement directly. The position performs maintenance, repairs and some small remodeling projects to the building structural components, grounds and pavement areas.
