Bureau Survey and Plat Coordinator - Sign-on Bonus $3,000

This position is under the general supervision of the Chief Surveying and Mapping Engineer and is responsible for supporting the work of region survey, plat, and data coordinators reviewing and guiding the survey work of others in support of delivering the improvement program. Duties include modernizing survey practices and procedures; developing consistency between regions; developing and reviewing contract special provisions; conducting quality review checks; reviewing plats; monitoring performance standards; maintaining survey data workflows and standard feature code libraries; supporting region survey hardware and software purchasing / maintenance / licensing; and supporting other functions of the Geodetic Surveys Unit and Surveying & Mapping Section.
